The K20A3 like the CRV/accord/factor k24a doesn't have a regular DOHC VTEC valvetrain as we realize it with the B-series engines - the K20A3 should really actually be termed a "DOHC i-VTEC-E" engine, mainly because it works by using a VTEC-E cam setup.
